              Kurt's Mission

Everything you do should have a purpose.

This voice over work will allow me to do some extra things to help others.

The 5 W's of Goal Setting

I decided to start this side gig thanks to a call I received out of the blue, asking if I'd be willing to do some voice work for an ad agency that wanted a "northern voice".  It made me think... I have the equipment, I have the knowledge, I have the experience - so why not throw my name and voice out there to help others with their projects they need a voice for and do some good with it financially, as well.

What:

What I plan to do is take a portion of all proceeds from any project I do, and donate to Hoops for Hope Foundation based out of my hometown, Red Lake Falls, MN.
My friends who started it up are aligned with The V Foundation for cancer research. That's where 100% of those donated funds will go.

Who:

You and anyone else who request me to do your voice work are the ones who will make these donations possible.

When:

Now is the time.  Reach out and let me assist you with any marketing, narration or other voice work you might need, and know a portion of your funds you pay will be going to a great organization.

Where:

Anyone, anywhere can be part of this mission. Even if you aren't a marketing agency or media source and want some random voice work done, I can do it for you.  Ex: Voice mail messages, on hold message for phone systems, basically anything that needs a voice!

I believe everyone has been impacted by cancer at some capacity. The main "why" for me to do this is personal experience I've had.
I am doing it in honor of my nephew Alex who's been through hell with cancer treatments that started when he was just nine years old. Due to the location of the tumor he had, the only way to save his life was to amputate his right leg. Thankfully he's doing well now and adjusting to the new lifestyle.
I'm also doing this in memory of my high school football coach Les "Drex" Drechsel, who passed away due to cancer my senior year, homecoming week. He taught me a lot of life lessons through the game of football and is in the Minnesota Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame for a reason. He knew how to get the best out of you at all times.

There are many others I know who have lost a battle to cancer or are still fighting today. Any amount that can be donated for cancer research I feel is important to try and find a cure. So I thank you for considering me for your next project to help me with my "why".
